Richmond Kitchen Remodel

This Richmond kitchen remodel pairs warm wood with clean white finishes in an L-shaped layout with a central island.

Scope of work: we turned a closed-off kitchen into one open space, with a complete remodel and upgrade.

What we built: white Shaker upper cabinets with black knobs, rift white oak lower cabinets and island with matte black bar pulls, white quartz countertops with soft gray veining, and a glossy white picket tile backsplash with LED under-cabinet lighting. The cooking wall has a stainless chimney hood and a double-oven gas range. The island holds an under-counter microwave drawer, and a workstation sink with a gooseneck faucet sits on the main run. Two globe pendants light the island, a tall oak pantry tower adds storage, and wood-look plank flooring ties the space together.
